Many engineers enter the profession today with little or no training on how to put together a set of structural drawings. The ability to translate an analysis model into a clear, complete and constructable set of contract documents is an important skill. Production of high-quality structural drawings can spell the difference between a successful project, and one fraught with RFI's, change orders, problems and confusion during construction. This seminar reviews suggestions for producing high-quality drawings. Suggestions are also presented for establishing office procedures and standards, as well as ideas for training young engineers.

About Our Speaker: Clifford Schwinger, P.E. is a structural engineer and Quality Assurance Manager at The Harman Group in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Lehigh University, has over 30 years of experience designing building structures, and is on the AISC Manuals Committee.
