DVASE Women in Structural Engineering

About DVASE Women in Structural Engineering (WiSE) Committee

DVASE WiSE intends to foster greater success and further the interest of women structural engineers by promoting networking events, endorsing outreach, and building mentoring relationships.

WiSE is open to anyone that is interested in supporting and retaining women in the structural engineering industry. You do not have to be a member of DVASE (or a woman for that matter) to participate with WiSE. We encourage you to invite your colleagues, classmates, and anyone you think would benefit from participating with this committee.

WiSE members had a behind the scenes tour of construction currently underway and access to a tunnel that has been closed to the public since the 1950's. We want to thank Keast :& Hood and Capital Project Engineer, Charles Williams, for offering this tour to our WiSE members.

In September 2018, WiSE kicked off with a social meet and greet at Keen restaurant. WiSE members met for the first time.
